Fall Meeting, 2008Regular SWIG attendees will no doubt be expecting a SWIG meeting in October. While planning for this meeting, the SWIG steering committee became aware of the many GIS-related events happening this October in SW Idaho, including the GITA conference, the IGUM meeting, several classes and workshops, and the NW ESRI Users' Group conference. We also recognized Gail Ewart's ambitious goals for the IGUM meeting, with which the Fall SWIG has become associated in the past couple years. In deference to all these very worthwhile events and in order to avoid overloading the calendar, we have decided to skip the October 2008 SWIG. We hope that this decision suits you, and we look forward to seeing you in February 2009!
